Scotland have competed in every Netball World Cup, apart from 2011 when they did not qualify. Their highest finish is 6th place, which they achieved for the first time at the Kingston 1971 World Tournament, and then again at Auckland 1975 and Singapore 1983 World Tournaments. At the most recent Netball World Cup, Liverpool 2019, the Scottish Thistles finished in 11th place.
